We firmly believe that knowledge and experience can be expanded through generosity. Our strength as a organization is increased when we give and receive from other intangible cultural heritage projects around the world.
When we began, we borrowed on the expertise of the Sabah Oral Literature Project, Malaysia. We were trained by the Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research in the USA. We shared our methodological approaches with other projects in the Himalayan region. It is our hope that our experience will be of use to other communities interested in preserving their own traditional wisdom.
